Eckart Modrow is an honorary Professor for the Didactics of Computer Science at the University of Göttingen. He is particularly interested in the development of concepts and materials that promote independent and creative learning. He has been dealing with graphic programming languages ​​for a long time.

Eckart Modrow studied physics, then became a high school teacher of physics, mathematics and computer science. He was particularly involved in training for CS teachers and is the author of numerous books.

Examples include accessing SQL databases, searching a family-tree, image or sound compression with Fast Fourier Transform (FFT), machine learning techniques such as ID3, k-means, DBSCAN and outlier detection, and q-learning, as well as some of Stephen Wolfram's cellular automata.
